More than 45 different rooms await you with exhibits featuring animals, fossils, minerals, plants, different cultures of the world, and even meteorites - you'll have a hard time deciding where to start!
Of course, during your visit, you must go to see three of this museum's most important tenants: the T-Rex, the 94-foot-long blue whale, and the Easter Island Head.

This ticket option includes access to over 40 rooms about nature and the universe.
General Ticket + 1 Temporary Exhibition
With this option, besides being able to see over 40 rooms, you can enjoy one of the following activities: the Davis Family Butterfly Vivarium, the Invisible Worlds exhibition, a film projected on the giant screen, the astronomical show of the Hayden Planetarium, or other exhibitions with paid admission.
General Ticket + Acces to Temporary Exhibitions
With this ticket option, you'll have access to over 40 rooms and be able to visit two or more temporary exhibitions of the museum: the Davis Family Butterfly Vivarium, the Invisible Worlds exhibition, a film projected on the giant screen, the astronomical show of the Hayden Planetarium, or other exhibitions with paid admission.

Invisible Worlds
Dive into the hidden kingdoms of nature, from the depths of the ocean to the strands of DNA in living organisms. This unique experience is presented in the museum's 360° immersive theater.
Encounters in the Milky Way
The museum's new space show, narrated by Pedro Pascal, is a journey through time that explores the cosmic movements that form our galactic neighborhood. You'll discover the chance encounters that have shaped our place in the universe.
Life at the Limits
Nature's superheroes reveal their amazing "superpowers" that some extraordinary organisms have developed to survive and prosper, even in extreme conditions.
Giant Screen Film
The museum's LeFrak Theater has a 40 ft tall and 65 ft wide (12 m tall and 20 m wide) screen and a state-of-the-art digital sound system. Here, films inspired by nature are projected. The theater is accessible for people with wheelchairs and have subtitles and audiodescription devices.
Davis Family Butterfly Vivarium
During the entire year, you can enjoy this immersive exhibition and share a room with up to 1000 butterflies flying freely.

The American Museum of Natural History is open Monday through Sunday from 10 am to 5:30 pm.
